It really is your OWN kids, isn’t it?! 😂🫠

As a photographer, I can have the patience of a SAINT with literally anyone else’s children. Your toddler wants to run away? LOVE IT. Needs a break? TAKE YOUR TIME. Doesn’t want to smile? NO WORRIES, WE’LL PLAY! I am calm, cool, collected, and understanding of ALLLLL the toddler emotions.

But MY OWN CHILD?! HAHAHAHA. Absolutely not. Send help. SOS. 😵‍💫

All Grandma wanted was a few sweet photos with a couple of her grandbabies. THAT’S IT. A simple request, really.

But Blaine?! Blaine was ON ONE. And apparently I forgot every single thing I have ever told another parent during a photo session. 😂

I broke ALL of my cardinal rules. There was no gentle encouragement. Instead of bribery, there were THREATS. There were tears. MULTIPLE tears. (Some of them may or may not have been mine.) And by the end of it, there was a FLIGHT HOME BOOKED. ✈️💀

So to every parent who has ever apologized to me because their kiddo wasn’t cooperating during photos… PLEASE KNOW I GET IT. And apparently I only have the patience and professional skills to handle children who do not share my DNA. 🤣

Anyway, Grandma got her pictures. I lost my sanity. And Blaine remains completely unbothered.

PLEASE tell me I’m not alone in this. 😂🤍

Happy #8 Birthday DREW MITCHELL ! Oh to know this little boy is to absolutely love him, he is so full of joy. He is funny, has the best laugh, the biggest and softest heart, athletic and loves and breathes all sports. His smile is contagious always makes me smile. He is the best big brother to Russell and Jace when they are not wrestling!

You are loved so much, you are a gift to everyone around you!

SHE SAID YES !!! When you have these two in your 8th grade PE class, who would have thought! Start dating as sophomore’s, then covid hits and somehow manage that, graduate and decide to go to two different colleges, one in CA one in Idaho and have a separate computers just to FaceTime. They both graduate, come home and THIS!! Hence photographer has tears but just kept clicking away…

Everything about this night was just so serene and full of love, just wish you could have seen her literally jumping up and down! Their love is only theirs and it’s is so present you could feel it. It’s just another beginning for them and I could not be happier for them and their families, as GPA and GMA live right next door - I couldn’t mess this up !!!

HAPPY #7th BIRTHDAY HANK !! My boy who goes crazy still when I walk in the door, I never get to eat without supervision, emotionally smart and the paws swipe is real ! Love you buddy more than you will ever know. Yes he is spoiled and i love that !

There is just something so special capturing surprise proposals, hiding, waiting, heart beats so fast just waiting to see their moment ! SHE SAID YES!!! Sweetest humans ever from the Bay Area.
