simple. sweet. stationary. what a beautiful thing it is to be able to be bored. to have someone ask what’s new and not have an answer. that’s what life has been like lately. simple in the what happens. sweet in the who it happens with. and stationary in the day to day routine of life. i feel so blessed that im not even that mad that my caption i had written before hand deleted before i could finish and had to start over. because i could talk about this sweet month over and over again. i don’t have much to say. to be honest i just wanted to take a minute and list some of the simpler moments and things we take for granted daily. here’s 28 of them :)

i think one of my favorite things to do every year is to compile a video like this. 1 min of yalls life watching a whole year of mine. a year of laughter and dumb nights and late talks. all the beautiful things that shined a light in the dark year i walked through. i am forever blessed. for each person. each laugh. memory. and i have never felt more honored to have no storage on my phone if it means memories like these can live forever.

<a very STRANGE december>

yall know i can’t have the end of the year post before completing december!!! so here is my december recap. a fair mix of friends and family this month. as it should be. in the holiday season. to be honest this was a month of highs and lows but the highs are higher than the deepest low. if that makes sense. i’m satisfied with how the year ended. how this month capped off the year of 2025. that’s a whole different rant. 2025. anyway. i’m thankful. for the friends who stuck around this long. i’m thankful for a God who never let me stop trying. i’m thankful for the U visits and the laughs and chilis. i’m just grateful. i’m blessed. that’s a better word. i don’t deserve any of it. but here i am. sitting in it. i’m blessed.

december. i played a lot of games (lost a lot of games). i saw family. i saw friends. said see you later to some (my hallie queen) watched the end of a show that grew up with me. most of all i did what i needed to do more of this year. rest. no crazy long caption for this month. no words to say. that’s a good thing i think :)

i love my friends guys.

OH and i starter a new church.. one that feels like home so that’s good. GO TO CHURCH GUYS!

I am bad at keeping my social media up to date so here are both posts for Christmas Spec and New York!

I cannot find the words to describe my first Christmas Spec. All I can say is I’ve fallen in love with it. It pushed me to better myself not only musically, but spiritually as well. Everything was jaw dropping. I loved being able to come together with everyone and worship our Lord. Each night you could feel His presence and that is and will always be my all time favorite part of Spec. I am already excited for Spec next year!

Performing in Carnegie Hall was beyond amazing. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to be able to do that! Not sleeping in over 24 hours was rough but worth it. New York was so much fun and I hope I get to go back one day!

2025,

I graduated, worked camp, started college, and met tremendous people along the way. Some came and passed but taught me things that built me to who I am.
These photos only capture just a glimpse of the love that has been shown to me.
The Lord has blessed me tremendously! He’s given me people who push me to him and he’s given me a school that highlights him in every single thing!

Some of these photos capture moments of laughter, joy, stressful days, days well spent, family, people I’ve spent summers growing with, friends, and this new found family also known as RamCorps!

if even I in December of 24’ could see how the Lord answered the prayers I cried out I’d be in awe of where the Lord has brought me!

✨Christmas Spectacular✨

I think for me I’ll always be a bit more sentimental about spec. A year ago I attended my first spec, I was really just excited to see Austin and what he spent so much time preparing for! But It was at that spec I was given the information for audition dates. I met Dr. Goodwin, Dr. Breland, and Mr. Dunn who all encouraged me to audition but I was scared. Austin told me to pray on it but that auditioning never hurt! I ended up picking the very last audition option to give me as much time to prepare as possible! Eventually March came closer and closer and then I was in Alabama. Austin was the biggest help because he continued to encourage me and push me for success in moments all I could say was ”I’ll never make it” or “I can’t do this”.
By the end of the audition I felt really peaceful about it, all the anxiety was gone and I just knew that whatever happened it would be God leading me the direction he had planned for me!
And as we see, here I am playing Viola at the University of Mobile. I can’t say it was everything I expected it’s been much different but nonetheless I love it here. I went from watching spec to playing for it.

Flash forward to now, the first picture you see is only a glimpse of the blessing of friendships UM has brought me. I wasn’t feeling the best one night and I had a lot on my mind but Izzy and Juliana they listened to me pour my heart out and their first words were “Can we pray for you”. And that just sums up Izzy and Juliana friends who push me to my Heavenly Father before anything else.

I’ve become Sarah Beth by writing captions so long but I’m just overwhelmed with all the best feelings that college has brought me and couldn’t keep it to myself!
