hey cuties! let’s get into what our march menu drinks will look like👀

update: we’re going to be serving only cold drinks this month with my homemade cardamom clove cold brew (say that three times fast) instead of espresso, and topping them off with assorted cold creams 😋

come through and try out a drink or two at the next pop-up, Studio Cafe, on Saturday, March 28th 12pm-4pm ✨ (RSVP link in bio!)

Can you donate $25 for black femme led indie films? What if I told you this was a fully self-funded film and your donation would pay a crew member??

I am raising $4000 to pay our last 6 crew members. Donate here! Link in bio too 😚 http://spot.fund/METAMORPHOSISFilm

Metamorphosis shot August 2025 with a SAG cast of 4 and a crew of 21. Our director paid all of the cast wages and 15 crew members, as well as fully funding the production. Now, we are raising $4000 to pay our last 6 crew members.

Donate here: http://spot.fund/METAMORPHOSISFilm

Please support indie films by black and brown queer femmes! The film partnered with PR Casting (the Emmy award winning casting company that did The Bear, Emperor of Ocean Park, etc) and stars Ronald Connor and Demetra Dee. In addition, Camera Ambassador partnered with us to give us affordable equipment.

All those who donate will be included in the Thank You credits of the film and invited to the private screening upon the film's completion. If interested in investing or sponsoring the film through post and festivals/distribution, please reach out to us at metamorphsisfilm@gmail.com

Metamorphosis is a 11 minute character driven short film about siblings Amara and Sam. After their parents death 5 years ago, Amara becomes Sam's full time caretaker in an attempt to bring them closer and give her purpose. However, she has become an emotional burden to Sam without realizing. When Sam goes into a coma, Amara is alone for the first time since their parents died. Now, she has to find the courage to face her fears.

Had the privilege of being on a powerful panel for Suicide Prevention Month with @closetunlockd 💙 Such an inspiring conversation, an incredible crowd, and an unforgettable experience.

Truly grateful to sit alongside the amazing @that_girl_aly_ & @okayyoungman — you both inspire me so much. 🙏🏾

Big thanks to @dcaffgotem for creating spaces that highlight such important conversations, and to @kirakote for capturing the moment 📸🫶🏾
