Hello friends! 😁 today I will show you the „Monster“ under the Wehrmacht tractors, the Sd.Kfz.9 „Famo“ constructed by @1_45ww2builder The Sd.Kfz. 9 (Special Motor Vehicle 9 - Heavy Tractor 18 t) was the heaviest half-chain vehicle of the Wehrmacht. It was developed as an artillery tractor for the heaviest German guns as well as a towing and recovery vehicle and was used on all fronts during the Second World War until the end. It belongs to the group of special motor vehicles. Between 1938 and 1944, about 2500 vehicles of this type were manufactured. Since the tractor proved excellent right away, it remained unchanged in production until the end - apart from the installation of a slightly stronger engine from 1939. 🫡 crew 2+9 🏋️‍♂️ 18t ⚙️ lenght 8,32m height 2,85m width 2,60m speed 51 km/h (street) If you like my content feel free to comment or like it or spread it in your storys.
