Happy 3rd Birthday to Beauty, Brains & Books! 🥂📚🤎 Three years ago, we came together because of our love for books, but somewhere along the way, we became so much more than a book club. We became a sisterhood. 🥹 Three years of reading together, laughing until we cry, debating characters like they’re real people 😂, showing up for one another, making memories, taking trips, and having conversations that stay with us long after the last page. I’m so grateful for every woman who has been part of this journey and helped make BBB what it is today. Here’s to the books we’ve loved, the friendships we’ve built, and all the chapters we haven’t written yet. 🥂📖 Happy 3rd Birthday, Beauty, Brains & Books! Here’s to another chapter together. 🤎 Drop a 📚 in the comments if you’ve been part of the BBB journey, and tell us your favorite book club memory! #BeautyBrainsAndBooks #BBBBookClub #BlackWomenRead #BlackBookClub #bookclubsisterhood

The group chat was NOT quiet after this one. 👀📚 Our book club read The Scammer by Tiffany D. Jackson, and whew... everybody had theories, everybody was suspicious, and nobody knew who to trust. This is the kind of book that gives you plenty to talk about after the last page. Twists, deception, messy decisions, and characters that will have you questioning everything. If your book club loves a story that keeps the conversation going long after the meeting ends, add this one to your list. Have you read The Scammer yet? Tell us your thoughts in the comments, but keep it spoiler-free! 👇🏾 #TheScammer #TiffanyDJackson #BookClubReads #BlackBookstagram #BeautyBrainsAndBooks

A huge thank you to @arieturnspages for choosing The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin as our July Book of the Month! This book gave us so much to discuss, from survival and power to identity, family, and the systems that shape us. It was layered, thought-provoking, and unlike anything many of us had read before. Thank you, Ariel, for selecting a book that challenged us, kept us talking, and left us excited to continue the series. 💛📚 #BookClub #TheFifthSeason #NKJemisin #BookOfTheMonth #blackbookclubs
