The painterly rendering is gorgeous, especially on the fur and the fish. I feel like the longer I look at it, the more things I find to admire about it! You really set the atmosphere with your use of the rippled lighting falling on Covet’s figure. The fish framing Covet’s figure, the feeling of depth you created with the foreshortening; it all comes together so well! It truly feels like Covet is popping out of the piece, like she’s 3D.
