✨My senior recital 😆 ✨

Join me on March 20, 2026 at 6:00pm at Eckhardt-Gramatté Hall for an evening that traces a journey through colour, character, and identity.

The first half explores storytelling through contrast from the elegance and clarity of Blavet’s Flute Concerto in A minor, to the shimmering lyricism of Fauré’s Fantaisie, Op.79. The program then shifts inward with the haunting intensity of Kuroda Bushi (arr. Hosokawa for alto flute), before closing the half with the rich, impressionistic world of Griffes’ Poem, music that feels suspended between dream and confession.

The second half continues that emotional arc but with even more vulnerability and fire. The raw energy of Beeftink’s Fantasia “Flamenco” strips the flute down to its most exposed form: alone on stage. From there, we return to intimacy and atmosphere in Hüe’s Nocturne, before ending with the brilliance and rhythmic vitality of Sancan’s Sonatine, a work that feels both playful and triumphant, like stepping fully into who you’ve become.

Hope to see you there 🥰💕❤️

🎶 Join me for a musical journey through time and sound! 🌟

Excited to present my junior recital, where I'll explore the incredible evolution of flute music - from the classical elegance of Haydn to the innovative techniques of contemporary composers like Ian Clarke.

🗓️ March 15 (not April) | 8:15 PM
📍 Eckhardt-Gramatté Hall

Prepare to be transported through musical eras, experiencing the flute's incredible range - from virtuosic passages to passionate storytelling. This isn't just a performance; it's a celebration of how composers have continuously reimagined this beautiful instrument.

Taffanel's virtuosity, Piazzolla's tango-infused magic, Mouquet's narrative brilliance - all in one evening! 🎉💕

Tickets are free for all!

Can't wait to share this musical adventure with you! 🎵✨

For many years now, I’ve been wanting to travel to Canada to go hiking in the Banff area.
It has been on top of the list of places to travel to for so long now.
I remember being on @pinterest making a travel board for all the places I wanted to see and Banff was one of the first places I saved on the board.
Funny how life works, as I met a special someone beginning this year that just happened to be from Canada.
Then last week, I visited my girl to celebrate her birthday and knocked out two days of hiking where I’ve been wanting to go for so long.
Thank you Kira for making a dream come true
Can’t wait to explore the world more with my dream girl :)
