i spent the better part of the last two years consumed with my failures.

replaying them. measuring myself against what and where i thought i should have been by now in life.

but in doing that, i overlooked how much life actually happened at 34. i silently carried more than i ever admitted out loud, doing all of it without asking for help, even on days when i desperately needed it. i kept going and eventually (thankfully) found my smile again.

i ran two ultramarathon relays, reminding myself what it means to move forward when your body is tired and your mind wants to stop.

i completed another full year of freelancing and kept a roof above my head, even when the ground underneath me often felt unstable. we made it work.

i built new and strengthened relationships with people i’m deeply proud to stand beside. this kind of love held me together.

my body stayed healthy with no major injuries. a miracle i didn’t thank enough.

recently, after 2 years, i literally picked up my camera again. just to acknowledge a part of myself i haven’t let go of.

i’m realizing now that 34 wasn’t small or wasted. it was full of effort i didn’t always recognize in real time.

so here’s to my next orbit around the sun. eternally grateful to just be.

Impact, growth, and approach can take a whole new shape when seen from a different vantage point. We love asking our students to stay present in the moment and to take each step mindfully - but love when they can reflect on just how far they’ve come from day one. They are truly amazing and often don’t realize just how powerful and resilient they are on this journey. #hoopscreatinghope

Why is @_shizzz_ making me look so short? 🤦🏾‍♂️ I promise I’m 6’3!! 😂

Congrats to my guy and gal @kirby_skye on selling and buying at the same time.

Yes, we did a HOME SALE CONTINGENCY in 2024!!🙃🤪

I admit, this didn’t seem possible at the beginning but we found the perfect SELLER for the home they were buying and the perfect BUYER for the home they were selling and we got it done without any hiccups…ok ok ok…there were a few hiccups 😅 BUT we CLOSED!! 🔥🔥🔥

Who is next? Who is trying to navigate selling and buying at the same time?? 🤔🤔 #igotyou

S/o @ginamyersteam for locking down the financing.
