Having delicious lunch at @quiosquemuseudelisboa with this beautiful date …

It’s free to access the beautiful garden of the Museu de Lisboa, where the cafe quiosque is located, with lots of peacocks showing off the splendours of nature art. And if you haven’t visited the museum then that’s another must on your list …

I will definitely be back …

AMARA 14-16 June
@kulturbunkerkoelnoffiziell by the artist collective @mezopotamya_hunerart

When I say Amara, I think of my late father, who served in the Turkish military for about three years. Even though he hardly spoke Turkish and lived in Denmark, he was turned into a man who was afraid of calling himself Kurdish in his own home …

When I say Amara, I think of mothers who do not speak Turkish and their children who cannot speak Kurdish …

When I say Amara, I think of the mountain Turks …

When I say Amara, I think of Kurdish women cheering Jin Jiyan Azadî (Women, Life, Freedom) …

When I say Amara, I think of the Kurds who are waiting for peace with longing eyes …

Ausstellung - Pêşangeh - Exhibition

14-16 Juni 2024

I am incredibly happy to be part of the AMARA exhibition with a total of 17 artists. The exhibition will take place from June 14th to 16th, 2024 in Cologne in the Kulturbunker. For us, the AMARA exhibition means a journey that we want to take you on it is a place where a wide variety of artistic techniques and expressions come together, united in the desire to make freedom through art a reality. The name of the exhibition refers to the Kurdish village of Amara, which symbolizes a source of struggle and resistance for the Kurds.
