Psalm 19 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults. 13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. 14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. I want to take a moment to acknowledge the unfortunate passing of my beloved blue light tea kettle. Not only did it bring me many a wonderful tea cups and purified boilings of local tap water for the kitties, but it did so in the aesthetically pleasing blue light. I personalize the *things* around me. Always have. Not like everything has a name, but the articles important to me certainly have personalities. My tea kettle behaves differently than my car does. I don’t expect the same standards when it come to the two… I absolutely talk to my tea cup. Um… but, ah… you really cant believe anything they ever tell you. I mean, it’s not like I’ve ever had my chair tell me to bugger off, “I don’t feel like supporting you right now!” Well, except for that one night, but it was mostly a mistranslation between our languages. I suppose, since this is par for my course, IF the chair DID tell me to bugger off for a while, time was, I’d put on my boots and go see what I can see. These days, its more put on my downstair house-shoes and go to the backyard and maybe see Bill Murray’s kids (pair of groundhogs) or the legends of hip hop, Tupac and Biggie (a couple of bunnies that dine in my yard). But journeys up the side of Thunder Peak with Mike Tercek--and for a moment, each of us in the same spot--a little bit >over\ the edge of (yeah, it’s time to turn back, we don’t need to risk our lives to have made it to the top, we made it really fuckin close. love you, mike.) or the journey down the stairs and--downstairs shoes on at the bottom--to the back window and my animal friends and the thousands and thousands of lives lived and unlived in every day imagined in one thousand (and one) stories as I putter about in my small land have been made better with a cup of tea. Which I could * almost always * at any time in my life* … at least, until very recently … could have. Now it’s nearing the eep hour and my favorite blue light tea kettle is broken and THAT cup of tea doesn’t exist and my cup is not filled! Oh, woe is I! El mundo estate triste desde el martes. Unaltered color.
