POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

MJ rarely grants interviews, making his decision to be part of this documentary a testament to the significance of the story we’re telling. What was scheduled for 30 minutes turned into two hours. Before we started, I showed him some clips of what others had said. His reaction said it all—and set the stage for one of the best interviews I’ve ever done.

Some stories are simply too important not to tell. Honored to have his voice and legacy as part of this documentary.

Sitting down with the legendary Bob Costas was a true honor. Grateful to have him share his experiences for our upcoming documentary. Conversations like this are what make documentary filmmaking so rewarding. @howtomakeit @kirkfraser

#tbt Back in 2005 we made history with this one! Nominated best street documentary of the year 🦾 Produced by @kirkfraser x @curtbone_dc For the record I don’t condone snitching nor do I support or idolize the person the movie is based on. Just sharing some history 💯 #donchoo

The premiere was lit. One thing I would’ve done looking back on this project was got more pictures of the set ups cuz We made it work with very little gear…. Meeting the some of your favorite icons is cool but nothing beats working with ppl you’re getting rich with. It was a long journey, and we got on each other’s nerves but wouldn’t change a thing. Check out Kings of Queens on #peacock #whataweekend

Growing up in DC in the 80’s and 90’s it was a much different city than what you see today. Washington DC had a fearsome reputation for crack abuse and rampant gun violence - it was known as the "murder capital" of the US. For those of us from there however, it was and will always be home...

As we approach the close of Black History Month, we invite you to join us for another edition of HUAA Live, The Making of History Channel’s ‘Tuskegee Airmen: Legacy of Courage’ executive produced and narrated by ‘Good Morning America’ anchor Robin Roberts.

Join in on the discussion with Howard Alumni who were key members of the production team, ready to delve into their impassioned behind the scenes effort. Hear first-hand how they were able to share their perspective of celebrating the heroism, legacy and contributions of America’s first Black military pilots.

Before Black Lives Matter and The Civil Rights Movement was the birth of one of the most remarkable “Youth Movements” of Black History: The Legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen. There will be an opportunity for Q&A at the end of the discussion.
