${August TBT - Bimini - Caribbean Island} 💙🌊🦋🐚🏝️🛳️ “A man can be destroyed but not defeated.” — Ernest Hemingway, The Old Man and the Sea (1952). ~ The most beautiful island in the Bahamas is an understatement. And remember that day perfectly with the cuttest people @noah.ramp @kirkpowell_ @tanguylepage 💙 White sand, clear turquoise water, little colourful houses. Bimini is small, but I could spend hours here. It also has a literary history close to my heart. Ernest Hemingway, my favourite author of all time, spent time here between 1935 and 1937, fishing the Gulf Stream aboard his boat, Pilar. The island later became the setting for the first part of Islands in the Stream. Knowing that connection makes Bimini even more special to me. 🤍 ~ ~ ~ #figureskater #cruiseship #cozumel #caribbean #woman$
