During dinner service the chefs listen intently to the checks being called and acknowledge the chef to keep the team in sync .

Tasting the dishes and taking notes with the whole team is hugely important to show case your new dishes , to receive feedback and constructive criticism.
This ensures that the dishes can be described passionately and with meaning and then help guests make educated decisions when ordering.

Kitchens can be chaotic, a certain discipline needs to be upheld and respect for the Chef in charge .
You must be alert and listen to the orders and commands being called out .
Yes chef or oui chef are the most common responses to communicate between the brigade.

The climb will test you long before it rewards you.
Most people want the view... but not the stairs.
Steve Harvey said it best: there’s no elevator to the top.
You learn through the journey not around it.
Learn the basics, the fundamentals, the classics and go on with the trends, the techniques, the cultural you know are all important.
And the marks you pick up along the way?
They’re not failures.
They’re reminders of how far you’ve come, and the strength you didn’t know you had.
If you’re in a hard chapter right now, don’t rush it.
This is where your future resilience is being built.
One small step. One lesson. One upgrade at a time.
Which part of this message did you need today?

This is where chefs are made.

It’s why I created the
Chef’s Edge Mastermind
to help you push through this part with clarity, support, and real tools.

Keep going. The hard part is the doorway.

Comment “Mastermind” and I’ll send you the link!

Chaos is where most people shut down

But not chefs.
Chefs walk toward the fire.
Toward the pressure.
Toward the moments where everything is happening all at once and failure is just one missed step away.
The rush, the noise, the heat
Where the instincts sharpen.
Where the creativity kicks in.
Where the problems turn into plates, and plates into moments guests remember forever and that’s where the truth is found...
You love it because it reveals who
you really are.
And here what we at ChefsCoach believe:
That same relationship with chaos?
It’s what makes chefs incredible entrepreneurs.
Entrepreneurship is its own kind of in the kitchen.
Unpredictable, messy, fast-moving, and unforgiving.
When most people would crumble.
Chefs don’t.
You know how to stay steady when
nothing goes to plan.
You know how to lead under pressure.
You know how to keep going, no matter what’s happening behind the scenes.
But even the strongest chefs get tired of carrying the full weight alone, especially in business.
That’s where ChefsCoach comes in.

Resilience shouldn’t have to come from being overwhelmed and overburdened.
The old school approach, the old systems, the outdated methods, the scattered tools that make you feel like you’re constantly fighting technology doesn’t work anymore.
There is a change in the way things are done.
You deserve clarity.
You deserve rhythm.

You deserve tools that amplify your strengths, not dull them.

Because when you have real support, and you’re not wasting energy on the wrong battles, your potential as an entrepreneur becomes unstoppable.
Chaos might light the fire.
But support is what keeps it burning.

Follow along ChefsCoach a business mentor specifically for culinary entrepreneurs.
