Cleveland Quartet Award!! When we first got the call about the award I genuinely thought I was dreaming. Never once in my life did I think something like this would be a reality and I get to share it with my soul musicians and travel partners, some of the coolest people I know, @poiesisquartet. It was such an inspiring weekend in Chicago at the CMA Conference, where I also got to speak on a panel about 'Identity in Chamber Music'. Thank you @chambermusicamerica, @mkiartists, everyone who ever believed in our mission, who provide us with the resources, love, and support we need to continue our work. Most importantly, this prize goes to all the artists and composers we've collaborated with, from our 'Love Letter' commission project to all our past community org partnerships and educational initiatives. I always say this but it's an honor to be entrusted to share your visions and stories. Guys, now we get to play your music at Carnegie Hall!! 🥹

Wow, to God be the Glory, great things He has done. I am still reeling from the immense joy working with @theatlantaopera this season has been. Thank you @kitbraz and @vaibumohan and @jessica_kiger for entrusting me to portray MPO in the world premiere of Water Memory. My little heart is so full from getting to sing and work alongside such a generous cast, amazing conductor @tingchaowen , our fearless leader @sirladygregory. I will miss you all and my little Bob (which had its own personality!) 🤭 Side note: Subscribe to theatlantaopera’s page to watch the replay when it’s published. ❤️ #fyp #watermemory #opera #new #atlanta

Jala Smriti (Water Memory) Opera Premiere. Atlanta Opera. June 2026.

My first opera opening as a librettist. Thank you Kitty Brazelton for writing this stunning and deeply complex score and thank you for constantly challenging me to be the best version of myself.

Thank you to Atlanta Opera (and huge shoutout @jessica_kiger for your constant guidance and leadership) for opening the doors to us and helping us tell this story of love and loss and grief and family.

Thank you @mspritig for being a constant source of support and guidance throughout this whole process. We would not have been able to do this without you.

Thank you @sirladygregory and @tingchaowen for being such gracious leaders who helmed this ship. Thank you to the beautiful company of singers who brought this story to life. I will always be grateful to all of you.

And thank you to my Lunchbox family for making sure I could fly out to see this beautiful show.

First of hopefully many. But for now, here’s to Jala Smriti 🌊
