The wheels are on the BMW e46 race car, next it was time to test fit the humans! It’s a tight fit but @katemorrisracing managed it! Rollcages are a requirement of motorsport, the FIA approved cage allows us to compete in Europe, but it does make for interesting exit strategies!

I know what’s going on in there… I promise 🙈

How my office looked today just doing the final bits I need to get done to have all the electrics up to a standard I am happy with and could potentially drive it on the street 🤩🤩🤩

The battery isolator isn’t exactly a street mod but I needed something to fully isolate the battery should I need to and while I’m in here wiring etc it’s easier to do it now when I’m in the flow than later when I’m fully over it and it’s summer etc so here it is 😇

Needed a constant live from the battery so built a loom to cover a few requirements there and made it as nice as I could with the Deusch DT connectors!

All that is left to do hardwiring wise is terminate the wipers, brake fluid level and one other thing I forget but that’s just pinning things out and making sure they do what I hope they would when I put power across them 🤞🏻🙏🏻🙈

Other than that it’s just PDM allocation and logic planning to do…oh yeah and figure out the CAN Bus for the steering wheel 🥵🥵🥵

We can do it…but first I need to do a loooooooottt of YouTube watching because I right now I have no idea what I’m doing😂🤣🤣
