A beautiful evening fundraising for my cat rescue Bushy Tail Cat Aid. Definitely a „pinch me” moment for me and one of the happiest memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

When Anna rang me on my 50-th birthday, we spent half of the night chatting, and we came up with this idea. I can’t think of a better way to start my fifties, with everything that defines me being embraced, validated and celebrated. 🐈‍⬛🎶📖💙

Once I got the venue booked, this was very easy to organise, and I could enjoy it. I knew that Anja Orthodox will bring the people, because it’s pretty much like asking, say, Siouxie Sioux to sing at an intimate event. The tickets sold themselves.

Anja is not only an incredible singer, and one of the best rock/metal vocalists of our era-maybe even the best one. She is also an icon in Poland. Her band Closterkeller began goth movement in Poland in 1988, and they have a massive following to this day.

For me, personally… I don’t even know how to put this into words. That little kid in me who lived for music and who loved singing was on Cloud Nine. For three decades I watched Anja sing live with tears in my ears, because I felt deep in my core what her stories were, and her voice was my voice. That evening was no different, with tears rolling from my eyes-only this time Anja was looking at me KNOWING that this is my story too.

Music… We can invent all kinds of medicine, fix the broken bones or transplant organs. But nothing can heal the wounded or broken core of ourselves, unless we’ll find a gateway to it. For me, this has always been music. It regenerates my will to live, my purpose, and the meaning of my existence. It has always been the source of my strength and what kept me grounded.

That night was one of these precious moments.💙

Transition from Fulfillment to Sweet Dreams recorded live at Qube Canary Wharf London. Fulfillment is one of my all time favourite tracks to play in my DJ sets and I always add a filtered drum loop to it. My feeling is that DJing should be about treating the equipment as a musical instrument.

Apoptosiys and Dark Scene London meet once again this October for their Dark Scene x @clubthemammoth Halloween event.

Following two successful collaborations, and our official in-person pop-up launch at the last DSL, we’re honoured to be returning for another night at Rae’s for Dark Scene Hallowtide.

This one is special as we will be casting spells all night in time for Halloween Celebrations with seven DJS and @mouth.ulcers live.

𝐀 𝐟𝐞𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭:

We will be open from 11.30 till 1.30AM however we will be at the venue earlier to set it all up so come say hello if you fancy it.

We’ll be bringing some new All Hallows’ Eve pieces, created especially with the Halloween season in mind. These will be available to purchase at the venue on the night.

As always, we’ll be card only for purchases. But above all, this event is about meeting you, spending time with our community and sharing what we’ve been making.

You’ll also find our signature Apoptosiys QR code stickers around the space.

We’ll be in the main bar area downstairs, so look out for our banner and poster on the wall.

And, in the meantime, message me directly for exclusive discounted guestlist tickets before they’re gone.

See you there
Come meet us in the shadows once more 🖤🤍

Following our lovely launch back in August, we’re returning for another round.

It was so wonderful to meet everyone last time. The warmth, appreciation and support you showed our small business meant more to us than we can really put into words, and we’re very grateful to be coming back.
