A New York Afternoon Tea with a British Twist

Warren Street Hotel brings a British tradition to the heart of Tribeca, with the colorful, art-filled interiors of this Kit Kemp-designed hotel setting the scene.

The new seasonal menu combines classic finger sandwiches, warm scones with clotted cream and preserves, and autumn-inspired sweets. Think pumpkin spice choux, caramel apple tart, coconut-mango mousse, orange canelé and carrot cake.

A lovely spot to slow down and enjoy one of New York’s most charming afternoon tea experiences.

📍Warren Street Hotel, 86 Warren Street, Manhattan

Afternoon tea: $85 per person, or $105 with a glass of Goutorbe Bouillot Champagne.

Served daily, 12 PM to 4:45 PM.

Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Andrew Martin - International Interior Designer of the Year Award 🏆

We met some incredible people last night whilst at the awards celebrating. So much fun and such sore feet 😂

Ben, your speech was truly magnificent, what a brilliantly humble human and fantastic career you have had. So many congratulations on being this years winner 🏆

Martin, what a fantastical night celebrating design but importantly celebrating you and all that you have created and achieved- truly inspiring 🧡

Too many people to mention who were so down to earth and wonderful but what a room to be in, amongst some true icons and stars 🌟

Forever grateful to have been included in this year’s edition of the book 📖 and to have the opportunity to meet and admire so many brilliant brilliant humans.

Step inside the Terrace Suite at Ham Yard Hotel, where colour, pattern and playful details bring every room to life. Burnt-orange walls create a rich backdrop, while the fireplace anchors the drawing room, bringing together two generous sofas upholstered in our Tip Toe fabric. Its textured weave, earthy tones and embroidery add depth and warmth. The bedroom embraces a softer palette, with our Falling Leaves in Ivory wallpaper bringing delicate white embroidery to a warm, neutral backdrop. Touches of orange and green connect the scheme to the drawing room, while the Sunrise Lily headboard makes a vibrant statement with its distinctive silhouette and floral motif. In the second bedroom, our Puff fabric covers the walls in cooler tones, creating an almost otherworldly, above-the-clouds atmosphere. Delicate flowers, winding stems and intricate embroidery form a layered design that reveals something new with every glance. From the cheerful drawing room to the restful bedrooms, the suite celebrates individuality, craftsmanship and the joy of creating spaces that feel truly lived in. A little look inside our latest care home refurbishment.

The furniture has arrived, and it’s lovely to see the spaces beginning to take shape. These detail shots offer a small preview of the interiors, with the soft furnishings and accessories still to come.

We’ll be back in a few weeks to complete the final styling, and we’re looking forward to seeing everything come together.
