Now both at once, and he’ll tell you it was never two people fighting for space, just one eye teaching the other. In 2020, Alioune Badara Fall launched @seetu.studios (Wolof for “mirror”) as an Instagram Live series, giving models room to talk about what the industry keeps off camera: the doubt, the sacrifice, the family who hoped for a different path. Today it’s grown into a full studio bridging creative and corporations, without losing the intimacy that made it so special from the start. The Art of Between for MERDE X: Double featuring @noirdemode & @clovisretif_ Two people, one shared practice. Clovis is an artist and object designer working across drawing, wood, ceramics and found pieces, drawn to objects that become relics over time. His first book arrives this December. Margot is a designer and art director who works under her own name and also runs Noirdemode, the looser, more instinctive project she started almost by accident at 18. They live, work and create side by side, often joining forces on branding projects.
