IT'S ALMOST TIME

I'm absolutely swamped right now so I kept a pretty simple design in anticipation of ACOTAR 6 🤩 the 5 colours of the current books, with some star detailing and a gold holographic topper

I shared this on my stories - I posted here about 3 years ago asking for book suggestions because I hadn't read a thing after burning out from high school texts and wanted to get back into reading to replace my pre-bed doomscrolling. ACOTAR was the overwhelming suggestion 😌

I was hooked IMMEDIATELY. I guess it'll do that when every single trope is new to you. 3 years later and I'm still tearing through books regularly so it certainly did its job of getting me back into reading and it therefore holds a special place in my heart 🥹

👸🏻 Fairest of Them All (gifted) - a blackened base with a dramatic purple to pink to orange shifting magnetic effect, accented with large particle green shimmer.

This was my second favorite from the new @kittinails.co collection! Super smooth and sparkly, with a lovely shift from purple to pink. The Fairest of Them All collection is out now, and although a few shades are currently sold out, this one (the title shade? is that a term?) is available! 💜

🐍 Sooty had her first check-up earlier in the week and everything looks good! She was a huge hit at the vet and she was surprisingly really nervous, which made me realize her chillness at home must mean she’s comfortable here 💚

Can we get some love for The Huntsman?

🤎 This was my FAVORITE from the new @kittinails.co collection, and so far it’s the WORST seller! Personally I love the bright green flashes in sunlight and the holo sparkle. What do you guys think? Is it prugly or not?

I had to try this topper by itself just to see what it looked like on its own and it’s not too bad! I did 3 coats so it wasn’t so translucent but it’s a topper so you obviously won’t get complete opacity from it. It’s beautiful on its own but definitely looks better over the top of other polishes 🤍

🌌 NIGHTFALL (gifted) - a clear topper filled with black holographic stars and moons, inspired by the stillness that follows Snow White’s fateful bite.

🌙 I tried this new @kittinails.co topper on a few PR shades from this new collection, as well as a few from her previous collection, in a skittle on my right hand as follows:
• Pinky: Snow White
• Ring: Dark Magic Department (previous PR)
• Middle: Glow, My Pretty (previous PR)
• Pointer: Love’s First Kiss
• Thumb: You Had Me At Hocus Recast (previous PR)

I did 2-3 coats of each polish and the magnetic polishes (Love’s First Kiss and You Had Me at Hocus) were velvetized. I then added 1-2 coats of Nightfall (depending on distribution of moons) and then topped with glitter smoother and QDTC.

🌑 I really like that the stars and moons in this topper are so dark. I liked it over lighter shades like Glow, My Pretty for the contrast as well as over darker shades like You Had Me At Hocus for the subtlety. The latter combo matched the sugar gliders’ galaxy cage cover so perfectly! And of course it looked cool over GITD polishes (last slide).

Nightfall is currently free with qualifying orders for a limited time 🤩
