you didn’t think i’d only post ONE recap video for 2023 did you???

i have to say that 2023 has been one for the ages. i always knew that when i grew up, i wanted to be as independent as possible. i wanted a life away from small towns and country roads(even though i love them dearly). what i didn’t take into account was that i’d be on my own, without my family. while Facetimes and texts and phone calls always seem to do the trick, i miss them all every day.

here’s the thing you gotta know about going out and tackling life on your own… you gotta find people to do it with you. these people become a part of your family and help you become who you are. i’ve met some pretty great people out here in the city of angels, and i wouldn’t be able to be on my own without them.

starting my third year in LA, i have realized how much fun life is supposed to be. while there are still serious issues out in the world, there’s nothing quite like living your own life & having fun in the process.

so turn the news stations & notifications off. silence the haters. turn the music up. dance around your house with a glass of sparkling rosè. make friendship bracelets & give them away. go for a walk. watch some real housewives. hug your mom. tell your brothers/sisters you love them. date as many people as you can. take that edible and order taco bell. go for a hike or binge a new show. if all else fails, roll tide roll.

thank you, everyone, for an empowering 2023. here’s to 2024…

what a TREAT! 2023 has come & gone… and it’s been such a fun year. one thing you guys don’t get to see from me on social is my personal life with my friends, because i keep those memories close to my heart. with that being said, i couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate 2023 than to share some of the most fun moments i have shared with my friends & loved ones this year. and what better soundtrack to share it with than my aptly most played song of the year. i 🖤 all of you! happy holidays & cheers to 2024!
