Earlier this year, the @crop.radio magazine was produced and published for the second ever time. An annual representation of a whole bunch of talented folk that reside or originate from the North. From designers to artists, photographers to rappers, poets, DJs, vocalists, community leaders and so much more, the publication showcases the breadth, depth and size of the burgeoning creative pool that grows year on year from Manchester and its neighbouring towns, cities and villages.

Looking back at these pictures amplifies the amount of truly skilled and wonderful human beings that myself, CROP and all of us in this region are surrounded by week in, week out. It is a true pleasure and privilege to be a small part of all of this, something we should all hold onto with an almighty grip, treasure and celebrate with all our might and continue to support its growth consistently as we go. Thank you to all involved, there really are too many of you to mention, but in particular @samcorphotos and @rachel_bonner for plenty of late nights spent deliberating over the details.

Moments from the CROP takeover at Repercussion last weekend. Across seven hours, ten acts stormed the stage and delivered relentless, captivating sets in the historic Manchester venue. A highlight every year, with queues wrapping the building while the pressure built inside - a proper link up in the heart of the city.

Back in the pub at @repercussion__ taking over @starandgarter for a 7 hour session with a stacked crew of selectors as part of a huge winter warmer at Mayfield Depot.

We’re hyped to bring through a mix of our favourite DJs, residents, and a few very special guests, all hosted by the one and only Greenskeeper himself @conorthegreenskeeper.

Tomorrow, Sublime and CROP join forces for a street party takeover in Egerton Crescent car park for the annual Withington Pride. This never before used space will host a handpicked selection of the finest queer talent in Manchester, all powered by Big Tone Sound.

The daytime festivities kick off at 16:00 before moving inside to the XLR basement at 21:00. Entry to the street party is free all day. Tickets for the after party are running low, so grab yours now via RA.
