POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Some outfit moments from the @neverneverjewellery studio of us @mimielashiry & @anita_ghise

From holding space at festivals and running workshops to making jewellery, taking photos, cooking, gardening, working bees, walking the dog, dancing our feet into the vortex and everything in between.

No matter how challenging the task, we always manage to keep it playful, finding the fun in the chaos and laughing uncontrollably at our accidentally dry comments that probably aren’t even funny to anyone else hahahaha.

This is what happens when you stop listening and caring what other people think you should look like, and start living and dressing for yourself. I wish I'd done this so much earlier in life, but I guess that's how it works.

Get excited if you're not already here, your 40's are f*cking fantastic! P.s. I only plan to get hotter, richer and weirder, so look out!

Planet Price in @financialreview today 🙌🏼

Over a year ago I met Andy and we were, and still are, on the same mission, coming at it from different angles, skills and experience.

Without nature we can’t survive. It’s a hidden cost. The price $ to buy is displayed, the cost to the planet’s resources is not.

The mission is to show business and consumers the cost on nature our choices have, at product level, to empower transparency, to see the impact our choices have on oceans 🌊 biodiversity 🐝 human toxicity, forests 🌳, CO2 emissions.

It’s an honour to join Andy, Mike and their very talented team of engineers, tech whizzes and LCA specialists, as a co-founder.

Thank you @financialreview and Campbell Kwan for covering 🙏

Cinema icon Gong Li continues to make history at Cannes, becoming the first Chinese actress to share the opening stage with Jane Fonda. This year, she commemorates the 33rd anniversary of “Farewell My Concubine”, the only Chinese-language film to win the Palme d’Or. Draped in a sheer KITX gown, Gong Li radiated timeless elegance as she revisited the festival where her unforgettable 1993 portraits with Leslie Cheung and Zhang Fengyi were captured by the water. With the film’s 4K restoration making its grand return, Gong Li delivered a heartfelt tribute: “Thank you all for coming back to relive this masterpiece, ‘Farewell My Concubine’.”

I’m growing out my greys…. Maybe… Hopefully… We’ll see. I’ve dyed my blonde back to brown, (this is my last gold-haired photo from a friend’s birthday the other night) and I’m going to see how natural goes. Trying to sort through what I actually feel about aging versus what women are trained to fear is deep, tricky, tangly shit. Literally any post that goes up about any celebrity of my era gets overrun with disgusting hate comments (from men AND women) on aging. Damned of you do ‘look’ aged, damned if you don’t. Hate it all tbh. So figure I’ll just do my best and work through it all as it comes.

Side step, I turn 41 next week. And I’m in a bit of an emotional funk. Birthdays have always been my favourite. I livvve(d) for birthdays. But I’m so trained to expect disappointment that it feels like I’m preemptively preparing for it again, even though now, it’s just me and I can do whatever I want.

So I need to plan my day positively. Pollyanna the shit out of it. Force myself out of this stupid rut and reverse the learned changes. I have school hours to play with… and then after school I’m open to kid friendly birthday ideas… anyone got any insight or ideas for fun things on next week?
I need to put birthdays back on my map.
