For this week’s episode, we have covered “Kidus” by Betty Wolde & “Agnus Dei” by Michael W. Smith. These songs both speak to the holiness of God and how He is to praised for who He is!

This project has taken a couple months to complete and I must say, I’m happy with how it came out! Growing up as an Ethiopian born/raised in the US, I grew up on mezmur, CCM, and gospel music (Marvin & Mesfin haha). This mashup is a dope way to honor both worship expressions that I grew up on and for folks who’ve had similar upbringings to mine.

Big thanks to Sam, Kiya, Biruk, and Loza for being a part of this collab. Looking forward to doing more collabs and mashups like this in the future!

For this episode, we’re doing a cover of Mesfin Gutu’s “Senaa Miti Wangeelli”. This track articulates how the gospel is not a work of fiction or just a story, but the Gospel -- it has the ultimate Truth and power to save all who believe in it.
