dear jhs cheer, ugh i can’t believe this is it🥹🥹i am SO glad i chose to join the team my junior year! i was so worried i wouldn’t be able to find my place coming in a year late but the team was SO welcoming! i wouldn’t have chose a different group of people these past 2 years!! i’m so thankful for @jonesborocheer and all that @courtney.r.patterson and coach crawford did for us! cheer has brought me the greatest friends and i wouldn’t have changed a thing!! i have loved every moment, through all the laughs and cries, wins and losses, and even the tough times throughout my mental block, this team has always been there and i’m so so blessed i will forever have my cheer family!! can’t wait to see what the future holds for all my littles!! yall will do nothing but great things!! I guess you could say I’m old now lol.
To start this off I’d like to say thank you to @jonesborocheer , I came into this knowing no one and I’m now leaving with people I consider family. Thank you for all of the laughs, crys, and memories that will stick with me forever. Thank you @courtney.r.patterson for not only being a coach but someone I or anyone could talk to about anything. You are the reason I want to be a cheer coach and I can’t thank you enough for everything. To the person who started this journey for me and my first ever school coach, @carrieromines . She wasn’t only my coach, she’s a neighbor, teacher, and a second mom. She was the one who made me fall in love with cheer. No matter what she always made it clear she was in my corner and I love her for that. Last but not least, to my mom, through every sport I’ve ever played, she has been there. In the cold, rain, heat, late night, long car rides she has always been there. Now did she almost get escorted out of some games for yelling at the refs? Yes. But that’s beside the point🤣. Thank you for being the best mom I could have ever asked for and supporting me through everything. Even though my time as a Jonesboro cheerleader is over, I’m so grateful that I get to continue to be apart of this program just on the other side of things. Once a hurricane always a hurricane 💛🖤 #OTR

Hey everyone! My name is Na’Kiyah but most people just called me kiyah or kiy. I’m originally from Osceola, Ar but moved to Jonesboro, Ar in 4th grade for better opportunities! I will be graduating from The Academics Of Jonesboro High School. I plan on majoring in Nursing so I can become a pediatric nurse. I’m about 95% sure I’ll be at Astate, and I cannot wait to meet you all.

I’m not really looking for a roommate just yet, but I’m always looking for new friends. I am a content creator, i love shopping, and i love trying new foods. I cannot wait to see you guys all next fall, #GRW❤️🖤🐺.
