Tin Man & Breezy’s: Lead’s VS Follow’s Urban Kiz Battle 💥 Every year, this battle reminds us why we fell in love with Urban Kiz — the dialogue between Lead and Follow, the tension, the artistry, the trust. It’s not just movement; it’s conversation. And this year’s energy? Unreal. We poured everything into this one — the technique, the musicality, the vibe — and the crowd brought that same fire right back. Now it’s your turn to weigh in: Who do you think took the crown? Lead’s or Follow’s? Drop your vote below 👇🏽 We want to give a huge shout‑out to Detroit’s dance scene for investing in us year after year. Your commitment to growth and community keeps this art alive. Every workshop, every battle, every shared moment — it’s a reminder that Urban Kiz isn’t just a style, it’s a movement. Follow and support the pages that keep this culture thriving: ✨ Tin Man Breezy Urban Kiz ✨ Kizomba Tá Doce ✨ Doce Weekender ✨ KIZZ INTEL We’re proud to represent Rochester, NY and Detroit, MI — two cities that understand rhythm, resilience, and real connection. This battle is more than competition. It’s collaboration. It’s community. It’s legacy. Let’s keep building, keep dancing, and keep showing the world what Urban Kiz really means.

After eight years of partnership, I have decided to move forward on a separate path. Alejandro & Turquoise Dance Company are no longer associated with M&A DanceLab Studio or Kizomba Tá Doce, and I want to share this openly and respectfully with our community. I am very happy and proud of what we’ve accomplished together and of everything we’ve contributed to the greater Detroit dance community. Those years of collaboration helped shape so many dancers, teams, and moments that will always live in my heart. All studio classes will continue as normal, and while there will be some updates coming to the training teams, my mission and commitment to providing a welcoming, high‑quality dance experience remain the same. This is a new chapter for the studio, and I’m genuinely excited for the growth, creativity, and opportunities ahead. Thank you for being part of this journey, the future is bright, and I can’t wait to continue dancing with all of you.
