For those that are new to the page, Clara’s Closet has turned into my full time job since 2020. All the designs are mine. My Mom creates the knitted pieces on the website. I’m also a therapist for kids and a Mom of one. Uno baby!! I have two degrees and worked in education for years. I’ve also been a flight attendant. Entrepreneurship is hard, but has given me purpose. I have to get up every morning and give it me all. The beautiful thing about that, I love what I’m doing. I share all of this to say, life as an entrepreneur is not easy as social media portrays. I’m just as real and human as you are. I get tired, discouraged, but I will never give up. I’m a proud Black woman, love to travel, and I love to laugh. Don’t get too pressed about my “Sis is Well Traveled” posts. It’s all for fun! Thank you for following, sharing, and purchasing at Clara’s Closet! The algorithm has not been in my favor, yet I still see ladies in Bali, Mexico, and the Bahamas with my merch! IG, we are going places whether you want to push content from Black creators or not. One of my reels reached over a million views. Ironically, me nor my merch were the cover on that reel. Black women, men, and children are just as valuable, creative, innovative, smart, and the list goes on.
