“Relationships are a dance, aren’t they? 💃🕺 Sometimes we lead, sometimes we follow, but always, we navigate the rhythm together. 💕✨ ‘We fight but we must make amends’ - a truthful reflection on love’s journey. #Riiverdance #CowboyCarter #Beyonce”

Mental Health Check Ins‼️ Part 1

May has begun for mental health awareness month. Recently had a friend passed away due to mental health, and I’ve used the gym for my own mental separation from the past trauma that I dealt with, but also this crazy world that we live in and I use the gym as my place of Zin to keep me sane.

95% of my clients are women with some of them being mothers. And witnessing my mother, but also my child’s mother and a friend suffered from postpartum and other emotions. It is only right for me to understand where they are mentally at that moment. but not only for women, but black men we do need to be checked on as well. Men cover 80% of mental suicide rate and I to myself had suicidal thoughts in the past. So being that the gym not only saved my life, but my sanity. Now I’m no therapist. I’m a personal trainer but l created a space for those to come vent and release through fitness so they cannot only look good, but feel good after it. And this is my personal opinion a second best form of therapy.

Check on your people because you’ll never know what they are going through !
