A few months ago, I had the pleasure of making the Obsession gown for @kjvdf from @theonebysineadcorcoran

Kirstin wanted to add some custom flower details, asymmetrically scattered on the shoulder and lower bodice. Of course this sounded fun, so I set about making some options for her.

I used the same Taffeta as the gown, cutting and burning each petal by hand, then layering them together.

I may have been a little too enthusiastic to begin with, making the first flower so large it took over the mannequin. A little boldness never hurts right?

Being that she is based in Dublin, I ended up sending over a mixture of sizes that she could play around with. See the last photo.

It kind of makes me want to add a new design with flower details? Fun right?

The last stitch.

Kirstin totally customised her look by sewing these flowers to her dress. Coincidentally, an old Irish tradition actually says it’s good luck to put the final stitches on your wedding gown the morning of the big day!

We had so much fun with this boa from the hen during getting ready shots in the morning! Something as simple as this is like a prop that just makes the photo/video nerves disappear- the more fun the better!

How stunning did she look!!! From the minute we met at the trial I was SO excited for @kjvdf bridal look, we made a few tweaks on the morning and I’m so happy how it turned out 🫶🏻

I used @colorwowhair pop & lock and shine spray to create her wet look sleek bob, my favourite products in my kit at the moment!
