FaLaLa 2025 from @oconeeperformingarts

Getting to choreograph and perform under @theartsbarnllc and alongside the OPAS Philharmonic, conducted by Stuart Malina, was an incredible experience and one I’m so grateful to have been a part of!

My work on this production included:

- Choreographing two children’s numbers alongside the brilliant Lora Garcia-Carreras (not pictured)

- Choreographing and performing “Sing, Sing, Sing”

- Choreographing a ballet solo to “Stille Nacht” in collaboration with Kaylee Smith

- Choreographing and performing “Sleigh Ride” with Lora Garcia-Carreras

- Performing “Up on the Housetop,” choreographed by Jessica Womack

So thankful for the opportunity to create, perform, collaborate, and celebrate the holiday season with such an incredible group of artists! ❤️

This week marks 4 years since I walked into Miller for the first time. And I will forever cherish those 4 years.

I am immensely proud and grateful for not only the work I created in Miller and Chappell, but the artistry and community built around it that inspired me everyday to give back as much as I could. There was never a moment where I didn’t feel supported by my faculty, students, or fellow dancers, and that is so rare. I strive to continue to support this program and everyone in it the same way it did for me while I ‘embrace my liberty!’

The lessons I’ve learned, work I’ve created, and friends I’ve made will always hold a special place in my heart. This program truly is Bountiful and Luminous (and arguably the real GOAT here)!

P. S. Dancers, continue to dance in college it’s so worth it.
