Everyone’s doing an end of the year post so I’m doing an end of an era post. Today my time as an RA has come to an end. For the last two years I’ve served in this role which has completely changed my life and I couldn’t be more grateful. From my two amazing and beautiful CO’s Luca and Eva, all of my incredible kids from floor 10 and floor 7, and my second staff which was the most together I’ve ever seen a group of people ever, I couldn’t be more grateful for it all. You have all had an incredibly profound effect on my life in so many ways you’ll never know. I’m going to miss waking up at 2 in the morning to go on duty or to tell my residents to quiet down. I’m going to miss the memories we’ve shared watching and playing games, studying (procrastinating) for classes together, and just having that space of community with all of you, staff and resident alike. Thank you for helping to create those moments and memories. I hope you look back fondly on those times as I do. Finally, after three years of waking up to the sun, I’m moving out of the light, and into the shade, quiet and peaceful as it has ever been. Love, RA Adam
