I have truly been Changed for Good!💖💚 If you’ve been around me at all in the last 24 months, you already know how absolutely obsessulated I am about Wicked! 🫧 It still feels like only One Short Day ago I fell in love with this story and it’s music that has kept me Dancing Through Life. Many special Thank Goodnesses to everyone that has made this chapter of my life truly Wonderful. words can’t describe all the feelings that i’m sure every single one of us is having right now. we ended our night with a SOLD OUT show, the first in over 3 years. for anyone who didn’t see a performance, i’m sorry but you missed out on a phenomenal show. i’d say Matilda is by far the best show to ever be put on at LHS (but that’s just my opinion).

Thank you to the cast and crew for making this show the best possible. and to the seniors, i’m going to miss each and everyone of you. you have changed theatre for the better these last 4 years. i love each and everyone of you.

My younger self ached to be on this stage. She spent vast amounts of time singing, dancing, and acting—preparing herself for the joy that performing for an audience would bring. With each year her desire never waned. The more she sang, the more she wanted to sing. And the more she danced, the more she wanted to dance.

She realized too late that the joy she was seeking had already taken form on the journey. Every time she reached out she got a piece of her dream without knowing. And now as she arrives at her destination, she appreciates the past for what it gave her.

I’ve been living my dream since day one. All my family, friends, and instructors encourage me throughout it all. Everything they’ve ever done for me I present on the stage. Every inflection, every nuance tells my whole life story. Thank you, thank you, God, for letting these people mold me into who I am. “It isn’t much, but it is enough for me.”

Senior session season has begun 🎉

This girl is 16 today! She is one of my biggest joys. Such a good, kind, fun spirit and full of sass. I can't believe she'll be driving by herself after our trip to get her license tomorrow. 16 years has absolutely flown by! I'm so proud of the young woman she has turned out to be and wish her the happiest of birthdays!
