We’re shining LIGHT on the darkness that is Domestic Violence and Abusive relationships
Comment “C1” and I’ll DM you the link to access this episode (releases tomorrow Jan 9).

People often ask why would someone stay in an abusive relationship. The answer varies because people are different, trauma is different, and experiences are different. My sis Romona decided to leave, but homeboy wasn’t feeling that, so he stalked her, attacked her, and because she made the conscious decision to DEFEND HERSELF from his abuse, SHE WENT TO JAIL.

Our hope is that this podcast will educate, empower, and encourage.
• Educate anyone who has never experienced and doesn’t understand the complexities of abusive relationships
• Empower all survivors to share their story in a safe space without shame, guilt, or judgement
• Encourage anyone who is currently suffering from domestic violence or an abusive relationship:
💜You are not alone.
💜You are not crazy.
💜Abuse is not normal.
💜Your feelings are valid.

Your life matters: Call the National Domestic Violence Hotline 1-800-799-SAFE (7233) if you need help or support.

Shout out to @kkabstractlineart for her strength and courage to share her story. We are so grateful for your insight and so thankful that you are still here continuing to shine your light, the Conf1dence Way

If you would like to be a guest on the show, please send me a message. Domestic Violence and Abuse is a silent killer, and we’re going to change that, one story at a time.
