When we began planning the King’s Luncheon, it was important for @ricoalvendia and I to adhere to the tradition of Washington Mardi Gras, honor the Military, the history of the Kennedy Center, as well as create a personalized experience for all of our guests.

@lionheartliz , thank you for ALWAYS bringing my visions, attention to detail and tablescapes come to life; your creativity and talents never cease to amaze me! This will forever be our favorite project to date (well, it’s a close tie to our wedding) ha

And the deserving honor and spotlight at the Grand Ball to @kristinbentley for all the planning of 7 months into one week. The undertaking was absolutely worth it - from the @howard1867 band to the details of each place setting and even precious Remi making an appearance on the drink stirrers. I was in awe.
