Forgot how real that vulnerability hits when the camera turns on, especially when it’s been a minute since your last class 🫠 So grateful for Kayla’s incredible energy and pedagogical approach for making it a space where it’s okay to just be a student again!

@kkjans’s hip hop class was one of the first classes I ever took in LA (literally a year ago today!!), and it’s always such a good time! Her teaching pedagogy is truly top-notch, and every time, I walk out of her class riding the hugest endorphin high! She always reminds us to be ruled by the bounce, and she’s always right, even though my body doesn’t always want to do it!

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝟑𝟓 🎞️✨

There was something so sweet about piecing these memories together and seeing just how colorful this year had been.

So much of this year was lived in uncertainty. I didn’t always know what the next step was, where something was leading me, or whether I was making the right choice. I just kept following the things that felt like a “fuck yes.”

Looking back at all these tiny pieces of a year, this has been my favorite one yet. Truly.

More adventures. More time with people I love. More trust in myself. More of a life that actually feels like mine.

I have so much gratitude for my communitie𝐒. To those who loved me, taught me, inspired me, created with me, held space for me, or simply shared a moment with me, I 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮! 🤍

I’m curious at what’s to come. 𝟑𝟓, I’m happy to meet you.🦋

same song, different choreo, more than a year apart ✨

i always love when a song comes back after awhile and we get to groove to it again - and can you spot I’m definitely more confident now than a year ago? 😎
