“A week, a month, a year... what’s the difference? There’ll always be an ending—and if you’re lucky, you get to see it coming.” 💫

My very own victory lap around the universe. Time really does fly when you’re having fun.

I couldn’t have done any of the amazing things I’ve done without all of the incredible people I’ve met over the past four years. My WRTC friends. My brothers in Kappa Kappa Psi. My roommates. My bones. My professors. My best friends. My family. You’ve all taught me, guided me, and supported me, and I will forever be grateful for it.

To my bones, thank you for helping me fall in love with marching again. You made this season so fun and special and it was a joy to march alongside all of you. Ducks fly together. 🦴

To my brothers @kkpsiho, I couldn’t be more proud of all of you and it’s been an honor to serve with you. It’s been a blast to serve as your Ritual Head. To my little @brett_e610, I’m so incredibly proud of you and I can’t wait to see what you do next. You always make me laugh and you’ve brought so much joy into my life. Thank you, kiddo. 💙🤍

To @_jocelyn.r.a and @alexrakowski15, I love you both so much and I’m so grateful we met each other. You inspire me to reach for new heights and I can’t wait to see what you do in your last years at JMU. You’re stuck with me forever now. 😛

Here’s to new chapters and adventures. Here’s to you, JMU. 💜💛

Originally I was on the fence about making a post about Alumni Band because I knew it would just be long and sentimental (like a lot of my posts recently lol) but then this morning I was surprised with a Life membership to KKΨ by some HO Alumni and uh… well, buckle up folks! 😂

Seriously though, I cannot thank Mike Lindsay and everyone involved in gifting me this Life membership through the fraternity’s Giving Program. KKPsi has, and still does, mean the world to me and to know that I really did leave a positive impact on the fraternity and the MRDs as a whole is a feeling that is beyond words.

I’ve had a few opportunities over the past few weeks to visit JMU, go to some events for HO and the MRDs, reconnect with some folks and even meet new ones. It’s still a little strange, going back and seeing how things have gone on without me. Sometimes it’s a little sad, but other times it’s actually comforting. I mean, my biggest worry last year when I was Chapter President was making sure I left HO in a place where it could continue to improve after I left. So to see the chapter take new 12 brothers this semester?? I like to take that as a sign that I couldn’t have screwed up THAT much. ;)

Again though, all jokes aside, I’m very grateful to have gone to JMU, to have been an MRD and above all to have been a brother of KKPsi. So thank you to all of my and fellow HOs and MRDs for reminding me of that these past two weeks. :)

AEA my bros, and FTDMF!
