hi my friends, it’s been a while! last I posted on here was back in September, a lot has changed since then so here’s a little update- feel free to read!! enjoy this little video I made of pics from September to now ✨🤍

Things from September, october, november, & December 🍂🌲
- got a cat, got a new job (working at Starbucks now), ended a relationship (challenged me a lot!), my step brother graduated from the marine corps boot camp, my nephews turned 6 & 2!, watched ALOT of movies, enrolled in school, had a lot of christmases.

2025 media recap 🎧📀
- movies: watched 67 movies (watched little women 3 times)
- songs: daylight was #1 song of the year (are we surprised? No)
- books: read 31 books

January & February memories 💌
- started school (doing Arizona state university online; thank u Starbucks & studying communications), harry dropped new music (hs4 at midnight fr this time!!!!!), got tickets to see harry in AMSTERDAM (hello?!), got a new tattoo, started going on a lot more solo dates, enjoyed the snowy weather, studying & writing a lot of papers.

Life currently: 💋🪽
reading binding 13, I turn 26 in 2 weeks, harry’s new album comes out in 2 weeks, I’m 1/2 way done with my first semester in school!!!!, & I’m working a lot!

Life is rough I can’t lie, the world is rough & sad, it’s important to take breaks from social media & to remove yourself from situations. I’ve always felt like I’ve neglected this account, but I have so much love for bookstagram & the people I’ve met. This is still going to be a book Instagram account, but don’t be surprised if I post random life updates, media I’ve consumed, coffees I’ve liked of the week, or random positive quotes. I haven’t been reading as much, but hopefully this year will bring me back to my love of books. ☀️

ANYWAY: if you’ve read all of this I love you, if you watched the video I love u. I’m glad to be back on bookstagram, but don’t be surprised if I don’t post for months again lol! 🫧

I’ve been a little silent on here, but then also realizing that I have gotten more followers on here too, so let me introduce myself again!!

hi! I’m emily. Im 25, I live in southern Indiana. My auto buy authors are Ashley Poston, Emily Henry, Taylor Jenkins Reid, B.K. Borison, and Lauren Asher. I have my own apartment and I love going thrifting to look for decorations for my home. I currently work for a psychiatrist office, but after a year of working there I realized that it has drained me, so my last week there is next week. I’ve been a barista for over 5 years, and we’re going back into the coffee world & I’m so excited. I’ve been recently diagnosed with pots so I have been adjusting and trying things that help me. I’m a huge mental health advocate, I love sweet treats, and I love my nephews, and I’ve been traveling a lot more. I love taylor swift, Noah Kahan, Gracie abrams, harry, & more. I have recently finished white lotus, and the perfect couple. I’m now on my 3rd re watch of Gilmore girls. I have a matching tattoo with my bestfriend, I love rain, & summer isn’t my favorite season. Little women, sleepless in Seattle & notting hill are my favorite movies. I’ve been cooking more and I’m currently trying to get “my sparkle back.”

March: a month of growing, aging, friendships, love, spring flowers, rain, & discovering new movies. i was constantly surrounded with so much love this past month. from birthdays to weddings. thankful to live in a world where there are months like march.

April: FORMULA 1 IS BACK BABY!!!! cannot wait for my weekends to be filled with watching cars on track!!! 🏎️ also cannot wait to grow and see what April has in store for me!

reading recap: finally finished my reread of em Henry books & now idk what to do with myself. finished promise me sunshine and i SOBBBED so much i lovedddddd that book!!! a reread of final offer was SO GOOD but SO SAD. I love cal & Lana so much UGH

tornado update: I live in the Midwest so we continue to have tornados (yay-ugh) last night we were possible for a category 4 tornado. winds were up to 70-80mph. I live in an apartment by myself, so I drove over to my grandparents & my aunt & uncles were there as well. we were all just sitting on the porch outside watching the storm roll through (classic Midwest thing) and then when it got bad we went to the basement. Luckily the tornado was about 20 minutes north of us so there was no damage. A few limbs and trees down but so thankful there was nothing bad!! King Glen Powell saved us 👑

weekend recap💗

i cant believe we are already halfway through the day! im currently eating lunch (a salad- even though i wasnt craving it but its kinda my only option right now…) now let me give a rundown of the photos❣️

🤍 this is the outfit for the day! i decided i wanted to be comfy and because its freezing out, im literally wearing leggings under my sweats because it was 20 degrees when i left for my first class! ❄️
🤍 here is just a clip from my pilates class, ive committed to going every week 2-3 times a week! i love it so much and i j want to make it a habit to go and get up. it is at 7am so ive been trying to go to bed early so i have an easier time waking up in the morning
🤍 this is just a cutie pic of magnolia parks-i havent started it but its on my tbr im trying to finish up wild love before i start it!
🤍the sunset is BEAUTIFUL after this class
🤍 ive been reading on my kindle and i think its just so convenient and like it makes reading in my room so much easier- i have a roommate so i dont want to have a light on when shes trying to sleep so the kindle is just a lot more practical
🤍 okay so last night i decided i want to journal more at night so i started reading atomic habits and so far im liking it and wanting to continue. today i so far feel like ive done a good job at actively thinking about the goals i want to achieve and like rly thinking about how i would work to achieve them.
