Kolla vad som kommer här då!

Support till Dolce!

Bild! Samt presstext:

"Hej ledsen för sent mail!
Här kommer bilden! "

Stockholm is teeming with talent 🔍

Sweden is arguably the European country with the largest impact on American music. Swedish stars have had a decades-long history on top of the US Billboard charts, from ABBA to Avicii (who both happened to emerge from Stockholm).

In 2026, Sweden’s musical output is still one of the most exciting around. While superstars like Robyn and Zara Larsson continue to make waves in the world of pop, there are a number of experimental and alternative musicians and producers bubbling up around the Swedish capital.

Artists like Becky and the Birds and DJ Suzy mix combine R&B influences with the patent electronic production that Sweden is associated with. Other acts like Horse Vision and Sindy combine catchy indie rock sensibilities with atmospheric electronica, while artists such as Oli XL deconstruct club tracks into glitchy, idiosyncratic mixes.

Although these artists don’t all fit into the same genre, it’s not hard to see the trends in Stockholms music output today. The influence of Drain Gang is clear in the new crop of Stockholm artists, with ethereal electronic production and breathy vocals proving to be a popular formula.

The city has collectively moved towards an “avant-electronic” space, mixing these various influences with frenetic production.
