Super Drift Competition Worlds 2026 is in the books! I couldn't hold my composure when it came to qualifying runs.

Q1-14pts
Q2-37pts (qualified for lower battles but people did better on their second runs)
Q3-0pts (hit the wall a little hard😅👌)

I ended up getting pushed out of qualifying bracket for battles, which is fine, i honestly didnt think i would get any points when it came to qualifying for Worlds. This was my first time coming to worlds and it was great meeting everyone and also getting some great experience and tips from the top drivers!

Also thanks to the people that signed my body as well!

Smooth and steady. Every now and then dad gets to play! She actually let me drive HER car! I broke a connecting rod on my engine so since her day was over I got to play!

Race results from the final round of the EBRC Raceway Hot Summer Series yesterday. First, thank you to Rick, Caitlin and Wyatt for hosting such a great series and providing a fun place for us to come play for the day.

21.5 - after 2 rounds of an intense qualifying battle with Mikey, I lined up for the double mains in P2. During the mains, I was able to improve my position by one, taking the overall win. This also gave me enough points to take the series win as well.

Expert 17.5 - During qualifying, I was securely aboard the struggle bus and riding it for the entirety of both rounds, resulting in a 4th place starting position on the grid for the feature. During both mains I was able to work up to second, and get to the rear wing of the leader. However, Wyatt did an incredible job holding up to the constant pressure I was applying, and I couldn't find a passing opportunity, forcing me to settle for 2nd overall. It's great to see another youngster finding speed and improving his race craft. He was the 5th different TQ and 4th different winner in this class for the 6 race series. Overall for the series, my 2 TQs, 2 wins and 2 seconds were just enough to squeak out the series win as well in what might have been the most contested class of the series.

Now it's time to go through the cars, freshen them up and make sure they are ready for the Sobolik race at the end of the month.

Tire choice is about 80% of your set up. And if you don’t have the right ones, they won’t hook up. Gluing tires is the most time-consuming thing and I completely suck at it. But I was able to get these Klinik spoke wheels mounted to a fresh set of meats and my truck is hooked up all day long so I’m looking forward to one more round of qualifying before we start the main events tomorrow

Shout out to Tony @klinikrc for sharing this tip with me. I’ve often wanted to change a foam out for something different in search of grip but never really came up with a good solution. This should work awesome. People make cut’n’shut crawler tires a similar way and they hold up to serious abuse so I’m thinking this will too.
