POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

“The Goblins” (or in Spanish “Los Duendes” ) is one of the new songs that @kll98frm will be releasing soon. Three months ago he trusted me to film two of his music videos. One of them has already come out, “Geriátrico”, where we implemented a giant 3D octopus.

In this video the idea wasn’t to follow or narrate what the song says, but to use those goblins as a metaphor for his most intrusive thoughts. That was the concept I had in mind: both bad goblins and good goblins, playing with that idea while also giving it a comedic touch inspired by the movie Gremlins.

I’m not going to lie, this has been one of the biggest and most expensive editing challenges I’ve faced hahahaha. But the result is turning out very close to what I originally had in my head.

In about a month this bomb will drop so you can all enjoy it.

And remember to always support your favorite videographer by sharing this post and leaving a comment. 👀🎬🔥

This music video for @kll98frm was filmed in Spain and shot in just 3 hours.

What we didn’t plan for was a heavy rainstorm that completely changed the shoot.
No cover, no backup plan for weather, just adapting on the spot.

Instead of fighting it, we used it.
The rain added atmosphere, reflections and movement, giving us some of the strongest cinematic shots in the entire music video.

This is something every music video videographer learns with time:
not everything goes as planned, but how you react on set is what separates a professional from a high-level creative.

For “Geriátrico”, the concept was clear from the beginning.
EL KILLO trusted my creative direction and gave me full freedom to translate the idea visually.

The core metaphor:
a giant octopus chasing him until it finally catches him, representing his mind, pressure, anxiety and the thoughts you can’t escape from.

🎥 Production & post-production techniques:
– Music video cinematography
– Advanced colour grading
– VFX and 3D integration
– AI-assisted visual effects

Anyone who has worked with VFX, AI and colour grading in night scenes knows how challenging it is:
less light, more noise, harder compositing and far less margin for error. That’s exactly why the final result exceeded expectations.

This project is a perfect example of what happens when there’s trust between artist and videographer, strong visual direction and the ability to adapt under pressure.
