@alpindubfestival was by far one of my favorite musical experiences!!! Amazing location in the French Alps, 5 top quality sound systems, great guest bookings and some of the nicest and most engaged fans of roots and dub sound system music!!! Grenoble region loves roots music and knows how to skank until 6 in the morning and it’s a true joy to be in the presence of this community!!! Give thanks @haspardubmaker, @dubcassar and @rootikalwarriah or supporting our mission in so many ways. Give thanks @woodblocks_soundsystem, @nico_joko_ and the whole team for amazing organizing and planning. Respect @earthkeepersoundsystem from Grenoble, @dandelion_soundsystem from Germany and @jahlifeintl from Spain for the heavy meeting on Friday night. Was a joy to hear @reemshot_ from Lille France and @freedommassessoundsystem from Manchester UK for the heavy selection on Saturday. Big respect my longtime producer homies @alphabdubwise, @martin_calim_steppa and @valtribulation. Great to see yall in the dance still!!! And blessed to meet so many more good folks and roots activists… And big respect again to the whole @woodblocks_soundsystem crew for the amazing sound and to Martin for the heavy selection and engineering…. Check the videos to get a taste of the vibes…. And once the tickets go on sale next year commit to going because they will sell out and you will not be disappointed…. Blessings and love!!!

Same way great to finally meet @klm_melo after being in touch for years. This community is so positive, creative and loving and I’m thankful for the potent connections. Haspar ft. KLM Melodub @ Escape the City Festival 2025 Live dub pressure from the French Connection 🇫🇷 The French Heavy Dubwize Diffusor @haspardubmaker is paying his 2nd visit to these forsaken lands. After holding him hostage, or as we say in the business "hosting" him, at ETC's Wintershake in Pula & Zagreb, where we shared some wild times, tunes, and over-the-counter reasonings, it was only right to bring him back again. 🫡 This time with operator @klm_melo, founder of @melodub Sound System. 🫶 If you don’t already know, the dubmaker outta Grrrenoble, Haspar is the purveyor of some of the heaviest productions to echo through outernational stacks like Jah Shaka, Iration Steppas, Blackboard Jungle, OBF… the list goes on and on... Haspar is also an all around great guy, the type of producer that makes you say "Man, why didn't we link up earlier, we could have got a discount on all those vinyls of your tunes we played through the years!" 🎶 Coming with a bag full of roots killers, early digital, UK dub anthems, and the most inventive French-style steppers. 💿 A whole heap of licks! From the conscious pressure anthem with Fikir Amlak on Back Away (big up Lion’s Den), over to the Jah Tubbys staple Seek & Find Rastafari with Dixe Peach, all the way to the certified dancehall crusher Nemesis w. Vengeful Dub, and don't forget the dubplate folder that’s been making boxes rattle and massive jumping since 2010! 💥 If you don’t know, now you know. ✨ 8th Escape the City Festival 📅 23.7. – 27.7.2025 📍 Barbariga Beach, Istria, Croatia 🎫 Available via our official website! #EscapeTheCityFestival #ETC2025 #Barbariga #Pula #Istra #Croatia
