Finally posting BIG NEWS PT 2 hahaha - TLDR: We're moving to Cambridge, England in < 2 weeks!!!
I know many of you in our daily lives already knew this 😅 as it's been in the works for the last two months, but feel free to read on for more details or simply enjoy a carousel of pics from our Fairytale Farewell party, for which I sewed a donkey headpiece for Ryan on the morning of, so he could be Bottom to my Queen Titania 🧚✨ #iykyk

So now that our packing date is confirmed, it's all finally feeling really real! I didn’t want to post anything publicly until we knew when we'd actually be leaving, but we are moving to Cambridge, UK for the next two years for a big job opportunity for me!

Ryan will be going along for the ride and taking some time to figure out what he'd like to do next in his own career and get started on that, as my work is providing him with a work visa too, which we're thrilled about!! The process has been more down to the wire than I could've anticipated, but that's life I suppose!

Living abroad (for longer than a semester) has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember, and it's also to do work that I'm passionate about, so I'm feeling incredibly lucky. But it's still going to be hard to say goodbye to Raleigh, my beloved home for the last 13 years, since one sad little teen girl couldn't take one more day of being a popsicle in Pennsylvania (sorry Penn State, love ya) and followed her family roots (and yes, okay, her hometown boyfriend too 😅) down South to warm up!

I am obviously very nervous about being a popsicle once again in England, but I know my handsome partner on the journey will help me make a warm home there. ❤️ Promise you'll come visit us!!

All I need is right here in Ibiza.

When I left home at seventeen unsure of who I was or where I was going, the only thing I was fully convinced of was that I’d never be gay and happy. As pride month closes out a decade later, it’s unreal how wrong I was and how grateful I am for the people in my life who have made it all a joy. It does and did get better.
