Ahote, Little Girl and Mango did amazing today!!!

We only kept Ahote in the arena until he started showing signs of being anxious. We do not want to overwhelm him but we want him to experience different situations he will be apart in the future. Mango was a champ in the crossties working with our veteran. Of course we can’t give Little Girl enough credit for all that she does for our program. #fieldtrip #baby #horse #satisfying #training reelsvideo

Ahote had a busy day with having his mom get back into work. He did have to spend an hour with his babysitter Little Girl she is way more trustworthy the. Angel or Solara. We wanted to spend a little more time with him to help with balance and building muscle. #sunset #baby #growing #journey

Awesome to be able to apply what is learned in the arena to the field. These two have really connected over the last few weeks. We are coming to the end of being able to ride out in the field because our daylight. #sunset #riding #horse #reels

Charlotte was teaching Jen and Chloe how to work with Ahote when cleaning his hooves. We have been preparing him to have his hooves cleaned, but tonight was the first time for him having to balance and hold them up long enough to get them cleaned. He did extremely well, with only a few hiccups, which is to be expected. Charlotte did an amazing job rewarding him and allowing him to take breaks. #satisfying #baby #horse #progress #reels

First time on the trailer. We are not planning on taking Ahote or Molly anywhere but in case of an emergency we won’t be stressing him out. Slow and with the baby. #reels #baby #progress #horse #success

From flying high to riding high on Mango.

We are easing Mango into the program but he has found a calling in helping one of veterans. The western world is new to Mango but he looks fantastic. What was even more satisfying was he took care of this young lady and was very receptive to her needs and his willingness to teach is what makes him special. #veteran #horse #healing #mentalhealth #western

Throwback Thursday

Here is our mother daughter duo from 2013. These two ladies are the reason we were able to open. They were donated by Clair Spicher and his family. Jim Theurer heard of our vision and wanted to help made the connection with Clair and the rest is history. Take a guess who these two ladies are. #ThrowbackThursday #horse #appaloosa #donation #thankful

As many of you know, if you follow our content on our social media platforms, Molly is 2 1/2 months postpartum. She has been out of work since the end of May, which has resulted in some muscle loss from daily riding and the physical changes that come with having a baby. However, simple exercises like lunging on a hill can help restore muscle and balance. Additionally, we’re gradually getting Molly and Ahote used to being apart for a while. Once Molly is ready to rejoin the program, she’ll typically be away from Ahote for an hour at a time. We generally don’t work the horses more than once a day to ensure they’re happy and content with their work. #workout #growth #horse #satisfying

When we opened our stable 14 years ago, our primary goal was to assist others and create a safe and enjoyable environment for healing through horseback riding. Over the years, we’ve noticed an increasing interest among riders in the agricultural aspects of horse ownership. Today, Charlotte was able to teach while I began tedding the hay, and Mason joined me as he’s participating in a co-op program for his senior year. We strive to contribute to the well-being of the local youth community in any way we can. #horse #vision #farming #farmlife #growth satisfying shorts

Simple Lesson Today,
Ahote had to hang out with the ladies while his mother was eating her dinner. He isn’t doing bad being away from his mother which is a great sign. We don’t plan on separating him anytime soon unless something comes up and we have to make adjustments. #baby #horse #independent #growing #dinner
