This piece was way too fun and had to do a round 2!! I don’t encounter too many fast choreos, so this was a challenge in the best possible way. Thank you to Karah for twerking out the trauma with me!

I’ve always dreamed of dancing in the waves 🌊. Water is my element. As a person, as an artist, even before I learned about horoscopes and whatnot (although I am a water rooster and a Pisces).

It was difficult to be technically precise while fighting all four elements—the wind and the water pushing and pulling, the sand shifting underfoot, and dodging seaweed and driftwood. Yet rather than shy away from the waves, I found myself wanting to go deeper 🌊. For my freestyle, I gave up fighting the current and decided to just play in the water and feel it rushing over my skin. ✨

I’ll never forget this experience, @kmbdanceco! Everything about this project was perfect, the song, the choreography, my favorite city in the backdrop. Thanks for bringing me closer to the water 💙

If I provided an experience that you will never forget as a human, not just a dancer, because dance may go away, but the memory of your experience will always stay, I did what I was supposed to do. I release the desire to be the best teacher you’ll ever encounter and I accept that that is not the reason I’m called to this. I simply want to be or help provide you with exactly what you need in the exact time you need it. Alignment!

Last night I got a tap on my shoulder and an ever so gentle whisper in my ear that said, “Stop sitting around hoping and wishing you get invited to other people’s tables when God gave you the power to build your own.”
💫💫💫Woke me right up.💫💫💫
