•NDA Dance Camp 2026•

Seven years ago, I stepped away from coaching high school dance team to begin my greatest role yet—becoming a mom.

This season, I’ve come full circle and returned to the place that helped shape so much of who I am. While teaching dance is what I do every day, there is something incredibly special about coaching a high school dance team.

It’s building relationships, watching young dancers grow in confidence, celebrating victories, navigating challenges, and being part of a team that becomes family.

What makes this chapter even more meaningful is that I now have the privilege of coaching alongside one of my former students—a dancer I once coached in high school who is now standing beside me as my assistant coach, @madisonfleske.

Watching her grow from a young athlete into an inspiring leader has been such a full-circle moment, and sharing this experience together is something I will never take for granted.

And after spending this past week at camp with this incredible new team, my heart is even more full. We laughed constantly, shed a few (happy) tears, cheered each other on, worked SO hard, and created the best memories. In such a short amount of time, we’ve already built the most special bond, and I feel so lucky to be part of this journey with them.

Coming back after seven years has reminded me why this role holds such a unique place in my heart. I’m grateful for the journey that led me here, for the time I spent focusing on motherhood, and for the opportunity to return with a new perspective, a fuller heart, and an appreciation for how beautifully life can come full circle.

Here’s to new memories, new seasons, and the joy of pouring into the next generation alongside those who were once students themselves. I cannot wait to see what this season holds for us. ✨💙

We are SO back.
