Spending sunny afternoons with Shadow is honestly one of my favorite things. ☀️🤍 There’s something about just being with horses that calms the soul. Maybe that’s why this partnership with @kngdmco means so much to me. They’re an apparel brand, but their mission goes so much deeper than clothing. It’s about protecting wildlife by protecting the places they call home: the forests, coastlines, deserts, and wide-open pastures where they live, graze, and belong. Been working on these WILD hats for a minute and finally got them back from the factory… so stoked on how these came out. The fit, the shape, the new Kingdom Wildlife branding… all of it feels exactly how I wanted it to. It’s a 5-panel, mid-crown, unstructured fit… meant to fit like some of my old vintage skate hats. We’ve been cooking up a lot of new goods and honestly this feels like the start of a new chapter for Kingdom. No real plans on when we’re dropping these yet, just wanted to get them out there and see how everyone feels about them. When should we drop? trust your instincts 🦁👑

A few years ago I sparked the idea to collaborate with the @rainforest_cafe for my brand @kngdmco - the idea was built on nostalgia, and an environment where I had memories of fun, excitement and youth. I didn’t know anyone who worked at the restaurants, I didn’t know where corporate was located, I didn’t even know if it was a good idea. But I didn’t stop until I got some answers. I started with what I knew, calling the front desk of the gift shop and just finding hints and clues to get me to a person who could say yes. In that time it was a relentless effort, because who am I to work with a world renown restaurant chain? It didn’t matter, I was going to endlessly believe in this idea, because it felt right. I had to trust my instincts and keep chasing until I could get through. We found someone on their side that believed in our mission, products, and understood our vision and why it was so important to us. From there, we continued to work through revisions and adjustments to make sure it aligned with the company at large. I’m so proud to say that we not only have a fantastic relationship with the team, we also have some of the best sellers on the shelf. This isn’t a humble brag, this is just a reminder to follow your ambitions to the end of the earth, believe in yourself and your creativity, find people who see your vision and then paint the picture for them clearly. Thank you Rainforest Cafe, and everyone who has believed in us since the beginning. Trust Your Instincts 🦁🐸
