Your first time setting boundaries was likely with your family. And as we mature, we start to see how those experiences shape how we approach setting boundaries for ourselves.

As parents and caregivers, it’s important to be mindful of when children are setting boundaries for themselves.

As adults, we can give ourselves grace for not being given the tools and learn ways to set boundaries for ourselves. #reparenting #settingboundaries #selfesteem #adulting

Our deep dive into conflict theory, “From Battles to Bridges,” is on YouTube now!

When we think about spiraling, we usually think about having a meltdown. But have you heard of things spiraling into control?

We have the opportunity to mend or improve our relationships by helping deescalate conflicts with mindful communication.

Conflict Spiral Theory states that conflicts tend to escalate or de-escalate in a cyclical manner. Each party’s actions, whether hostile or pacifying, lead to responses from the other party, either escalating or de-escalating the conflict.
