CYD? What a weekend🩷

The biggest thank you to @cyd_uk @mattflint23 & @tomshilcock for creating such a special event.

I honestly cannot express how grateful we are for events like this. An event that is truly inclusive, welcoming and full of incredible opportunities for ALL children, regardless of their abilities or individual needs.

As a parent of a neurodivergent child, finding environments where Alana-May feels comfortable, accepted and safe isn’t always easy. So to attend an event with such an incredible atmosphere, so much excitement and so many opportunities, yet still feel that Alana-May can simply be herself, means more than words can explain.

Watching her enjoy something she absolutely loves, surrounded by people who celebrate every child and their individuality, is incredibly special.

Inclusion isn’t just about allowing children to attend. It’s about creating an environment where they genuinely feel they belong, where they can thrive, grow in confidence and experience the same wonderful opportunities as everyone else.

Thank you, CYD? for creating such a positive, supportive and inspiring space. These experiences mean so much to children like Alana-May and to us as parents.

Every child deserves to feel included, valued and celebrated, and this weekend has been a beautiful reminder of just how important that is.
