💕✨Oh this went deep and came from my heart!

I am have been planning for Flock Fiber Festival: what I’ll bring, the booths I want to visit, the hugs I want to give, the yarn I want to smell and getting very excited!

In the process of journaling my plan in Wool & Weather on my blog I came across this photo taken on a coffee date with @knitpickynw and just felt so happy!

I feel blessed to be included in this fiber community. We are here to support and celebrate one another. And we can rely on each other to call us in when we need it - as all humans do if we are gonna grow.

So many of us are introverted but we still need one another and I just wanna say I’m proud of what we have created together.

Thanks for letting me co-create with you. I’m so excited to see so many of you at Flock!

Happy birthday to my friend Barbara @knitpickynw 🥳 🥳🥳 We all lead such busy lives, but some friendships feel like we've known each other our entire lives. Here's to another trip around the sun!! 💗

It all started with the first pattern shown: The Restricted Section Hat. I made some good friendships from that test. Then, a hodge podge of some designs that Barb has tested for me, and I think are some of her favorites. 🫣 I might be wrong! 😅 The last two she singlehandedly tested for me before Knitopia Nashville 2 years ago in secret. Keep going and you'll see the beautiful flowers and gift she got for me while waiting for 5 hours (might have been 6) at the airport because my flight was sooooooo delayed, just to get me safely to the hotel, because I don't travel well. 🤣 And then us hanging out for a bit before heading out.

Time really flies.. cherish these moments you have. @faintinggoatfiberco Tabitha, I can't wait for May!! 😁

The Cairo Beanie was released back in October of 26, 2021 when I did this amazing collab with Jaime @lifeslittlethingsco. It was so much!

I am sharing the #SekhmetBeanie that was released back in May 2021. I have written this pattern in a single color and two-tone.

In Egyptian mythology, Sekhmet is a warrior goddess. She is the goddess of fire and of healing. Her name means “ She who is powerful.” Sekhmet was a feared goddess, but she was also praised for her role in healing and keeping plagues away.
