I’ve completed a pattern test for lovely Becky @knitstitchrepeat

The Audrey Baby cardigan is a seamed garment with very few techniques, it’s perfect for a beginner knitter or a more experienced knitter who just wants to make a simple cardigan that fits really well.

Becky has created a well written pattern for babies and toddlers up to age 4, I tested the 1-2 year old size and learned a new technique for raglan decreasing, it’s quite straightforward and produces a beautiful neat seam.
The pattern also includes links for beginners to follow, should they have concerns with the knitting techniques used throughout.

I used 160g fine merino dk yarn dyed by @laxtonsyarns for @debbieabrahams_knitting in shade Lavender.
Notions, 3.5mm and 4mm pins, stitch markers

Can you spot the teeny tiny daisy yarn?

I pulled out an oldie but a goodie.
This #tillybomber was made 5 years ago, from @knitstitchrepeat
but I've hardly worn it, as it is super heavy and thick.
Perfect for Adelaide's cold nights at the moment.
This was made with scrap yarn. Including old sari silk chiffon ribbon from @marymakerstudio

And a teeny amount of leftover over daisy chain yarn from @knitcollage
I will be definitely be wearing this more this winter ❤️

We wanted to make it easier to try out all our bases to find your favourite and thats how we came up with the taster box! 🍫 But we still wanted it to be possible for you to make something with it too.. so we got in touch with @knitstitchrepeat an incredible designer who makes her patterns using multiple threads held together and she provided us with her customised version of the ‘Monster Hat pattern” to go with our Taster Box!

Just finished my Monster Cardigan, a fab pattern by Rebecca @knitstitchrepeat 😍

This pattern uses five strands of dk held together, on 12mm needles! Such a quick and easy knit, and great scrap buster!

Monster Sweater 🥰

I knitted this during a pretty low point in my life, and for that reason it’s a very special knit.
Made with all of the scraps I had at the time I really didn’t know whether it was going to look good or not, but I’m so pleased with how it turned out 🥰

I really think that every monster sweater is super cool when you just use any old colours you have in your stash! Go with it and trust the process 🥰🥰
