As a kid, there was nothing more exciting than the sound of 100 game cabinets blaring at the same time when I entered the local arcade. That will help you understand why I’m so excited to announce a game my company Bit Bot is developing: Knock Off: The Battle For Imagination, an arcade style fighter coming in 2027. Imagine knock-offs of your favorite childhood toys entering the ring to battle it out. The game soundtrack is comprised of music from my projects Celldweller, Scandroid and FreqGen. I also wrote an original theme song with full vocals as a “knock off” homage of ‘80s rock anthems. Not only did I get to voice 2 of the characters along with James Rhodes from FiXT, my Bit Bot business partner Josh Viola, and Frank O’Connor, Bit Bot’s Creative Director (of Halo / Perfect Dark fame), but my son Phoenix voiced the main character Johnny, which you’ll hear in the trailer above.
